THURSDAY BITS AND PIECES - KIRSTEN DUNST EDITION

Let’s see…  what came across my desk today….

Kirsten Dunst loves My Morning Jacket as can be evidenced here and hereTom says he went to see Jumanji with his mom when he was in high school.  I’m glad to see that Kiki’s got good taste!

Motely Crue’s Nikki Sixx had some choice words for Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Bros.  Unfortunately, I don’t really understand those words.  The basic gist is that they’re not rock.  Or roll.  I think.

That Petrol Emotion reunited after 14 years to play Electric Picnic 2008 and Dave Walsh, one of my favorite photographers, was there to capture the goodness.

Speaking of TPE, let’s enjoy their video for one of my early 90s faves, “Hey Venus,” which I heard, believe it or not, on a compilation tape (yes, they were tapes back then) that came in the SXSW big bag.  Good times.

And finally, AC/DC announced some tour dates today.  W00t!!!

Ahh to be 15 again…  On second thought… no thanks, but w00t!  lp
