Texas artist James McMurtry is a powerful voice in roots music. While he isn’t necessarily political in his songwriting approach, he doesn’t shy away from examining social issues and current events. McMurtry is the headliner at midnight tonight at The Continental Club on South Congress. There will be a happy hour performance by Shotgun Party, and Jon Dee Graham takes to the stage at 10:00 p.m.
