Fueled by a recent podcast by the genre-splitting DJ – and SXSW Veteran - Diplo, the dance music currently pumping through the streets of Buenos Aires is getting a lot of attention here stateside. Mixing cumbia melodies with way out electro sounds and samples artists like El Remolon, Frikstailers, Axel Krygier, Fauna, King Coya & El Trip Selector, Oro11 and Tremor are bringing the new sound of Argentina to the world.

Centered around a club night called ZIZEK that goes down weekly in Buenos Aires, this community of musicians plans to bring an all new sound to the dance floors at SXSW ’08.
