The writer’s strike has turned our attention to all the great content being produced online. In particular, we are excited to see the return of Ze Frank after about eight months of self-imposed exile. Check out his insightful November 19 video titled “Privacy”. You should also watch his hilarious intro skit from the 2007 SXSW Web Awards Ceremony, where he served as emcee. Speaking of the Web Awards, final submission deadline for 2008 is Friday, December 14. It looks like 13 is the lucky number for Casino El Camino. The bar and burger grill on East 6th Street, with the killer jukebox, is celebrating its 13th anniversary tonight with plenty of rock ‘n’ roll, including a live performance by The Golden Boys. You might want to get there a little early; this is a popular pre-Thanksgiving party that fills up fast.
